Catskill - Julie Margaret Rogers-Bertolucci, ”Most Marvelous Mema”, age 67, of Catskill, died Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Health Care Alliance in Kingston, NY. Julie was born January 4, 1957 in Elmhurst, New York, the daughter of the late Neville and Edith (Urban) Rogers.
Julie is survived by a daughter Ashley (Bertolucci) Margielewski and husband Marcin; a granddaughter, Alice Margielewski; her spouse, Frank Bertolucci Jr. a sister, Sandi Ashley and husband Rickey; a step-daughter, LaReina (Ray) Bertolucci; several cousins, niece, nephew, friends and her beloved pets, Sheldon (her Knight in Slimy Armor), Jibby and Jabby.
Julie was a young spirit within an old soul; armchair activist; animal lover; and diehard Star Wars Trekkie. As per her wishes there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Columbia Greene Humane Society, Humane Society Road, Hudson, NY 12534. May the force be with her.
